Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I'm Miss Kaycee

Klara Azzopardi, Miss Kaycee

Klara Azzopardi, M.Ed., M.S., CCC-SLP

My mission is to help your loved one find their voice, empower them to connect, and feel confident in their ability to communicate with clarity.

Helping others is the highest, most worthy cause in life. This belief has guided my 17-year journey as an educator and speech-language pathologist.

My path began in the classroom, where I discovered my passion for helping children overcome communication barriers. As a lifelong learner, I've pursued specialized training in areas like motor speech disorders, reading development, and autism support โ€” always looking for better ways to help my clients succeed.

People will rise to meet expectations.

I set high expectations because I've seen how individuals surprise themselves when given the right support. Every child can grow, learn, and communicate more effectively.

One of my greatest joys is using stories and literature as a foundation for therapy โ€” I've found that engaging narratives are one of the most reliable ways to target speech and language skills while keeping sessions meaningful and fun.

I'm also a published researcher, having authored a thesis study on the effects of music on joint visual attending behaviors in children with autism. This research reflects my commitment to understanding the science behind what works.

What Parents Say

"Kaycee was fantastic as my son's speech therapist for Early Intervention. Kaycee prioritizes a child-centered, strength-based approach, which I clearly observed, since I am an educator myself. Kaycee has the inherent ability to connect with children. She draws from their interests and builds on their strengths while reaching speech and language goals. She is undoubtedly passionate about her work. I strongly recommend her!"

"We've had the privilege of Miss Kaycee being our son's speech therapist for 2 years. He has speech apraxia and selective mutism. Miss Kaycee has helped him improve his speech tremendously! She gives us the information, tools, and tips we need to help our son be successful with communication. He has so much less frustration now! She is experienced, patient, professional, caring, and approachable! Her speech sessions are fun, engaging, and catered to what your child needs specifically. Highly recommend!!"
Liz Curcio
"Ms. Kaycee is an absolute miracle worker. She is beyond knowledgeable, patient, professional, the list goes on. The best thing about her is her calming presence which is so important in kids with severe sensory overload! My son responded so well to her calm mannered approach and made huge leaps in the time he worked with her. I cannot thank her enough for the progress my son has made because of her. She gave my son his voice ๐Ÿ’™"
